Presque Isle Colon and Rectal Surgery is an independent practice run by Brian Bansidhar, D.O. The clinic offers traditional colon and rectal services, open abdominal surgery, laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery, and colonoscopy services. Additionally, we offer services that are unique to Erie and western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh. Unique services include robotic assisted colon surgery, hereditary colon cancer assessment, therapy for pelvic floor disorders, and more experience using TEMS (Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery) than current surgeons in Erie.

Dr. Brian Bansidhar received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California before completing an internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Bansidhar brings a number of specialized skills to the Erie area that are unique to western Pennsylvania including a specialization in stimulated pelvic floor rehabilitation, complex anorectal reconstructive surgery, laparoscopic and minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, and robotic assisted colon resection.
